Once you install OSX, any software and updates, you might want to give the recipient of the computer the same startup wizard experience.

Press Command+S at bootup to enter single user mode

$ mount -uw /
$ rm -R /Users/username
$ rm /var/db/dslocal/nodes/Default/users/username.plist
$ rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
